The Winter Course is an opportunity to become familiarised with the fundamental disciplines of the Mosa Ballet School training.
The classes are taught by Artistic Director Pedro Carneiro and two other experienced teachers whose pedagogical skills and approaches are aligned with the school’s philosophy.

Practical information

The course lasts 5 days between Christmas and New year, from 26 to 30 December 2021.
It’s an ideal time to discover Liège, its warm atmosphere and its winter pleasures.

The Course is open to student dancers aged 11 to 20.
The courses are divided into 2 levels Elementary/Intermediate and Medium/Advanced. Each level consists of a block of three lessons per day:

  • classical dance
  • contemporary dance
  • pointes, male technique and variations

All lessons last for 90 minutes.

In addition to the block chosen (Elementary/Intermediate or Medium/Advanced), trainees can enrol in additional courses at another level as long as they can follow them.


  • Block Level I – 400 euros/5 days intensive course
  • Block Level II – 400 euros/5 days intensive course
  • Extra course: 130 euros per course/5 days intensive course
  • Lunch package: 75 euros/5 days intensive course

The classes take place in the prestigious setting of the Royal Opera of Wallonia, in the heart of Liège:

The programme of classes

We ask you to choose the option that suits you best: elementary/intermediate pack (in the morning) or medium/advanced pack (in the afternoon).

However, you can add 1 to 3 additional a la carte courses per day as an option.

We kindly ask you to choose the option that suits you best:

* The elementary/intermediate level pack (in the morning)

* Or the intermediate/advanced level pack (in the afternoon)

We recommend that you choose your pack according to the age of the participant :

* Elementary/intermediate level for 11–13-year-old

* The intermediate/advanced level for 14 years and over

Participants may change groups according to the teachers’ judgement in order to ensure the most appropriate level of teaching for each participant.

Please note that once you have chosen your reference level, you can add, as an option and à la carte, from 1 to 3 additional lessons per day.

For this first session, we do not offer a residential package.

Nevertheless, in order to facilitate access to a friendly and moderately-priced accommodation package, we have reserved a series of apartments for you to be shared between trainees (at least one of the occupants must be an accompanying responsible adult).
