 ion institutions\, the approach to talent development is rapidly changing.
  Teaching practices and formal procedures are reviewed and updated. Curren
 t science-based knowledge from fields such as psychology\, pedagogy\, and 
 sports medicine are finding their way into the ballet studio. As teachers 
 in this period of transformation\, we are faced with the challenge of adap
 ting our teaching practice whilst meeting the requirements of helping our 
 students achieve artistic and technical excellence. We will have the pleas
 ure to welcome Mrs. Anne Holm-Jensen Peyk\, Artistic Director of Royal Dan
 ish Ballet School\, who will focus on how to merge these demands during da
 ily workshop-based sessions. The Teacher students will also have a daily s
 ession with Clare Guss-West. Former professional dancer\, choreographer an
 d dance-health author\, she will share strategies for an holistic and incl
 usive approach to teaching dance. Mindful of the mental wellbeing of stude
 nts\, this approach at the same time supports optimal technical and artist
