To benefit those around us, thanks to dance

Dancing is good for you: muscle tone, suppleness, balance and endurance are among the physical benefits of regular practice. However, dancing is more than that. By connecting with your body, you can develop self-awareness and boost self-esteem. Dancing is a way to express your emotions, create a bond with others and even (re)discover happiness.

We wish to invite the world to dance

The vision rooted firmly in our DNA at Mosa Ballet School is one of openness, solidarity and responsibility.
Based on our conviction that dance can become a source of well-being and emancipation, particularly for those who are traditionally estranged from artistic practices, the school is developing dance activities which are inclusive and adapted, in collaboration with scientific experts and people in the field.

Mosa Ballet School intends to become a reference as a national centre of adapted and inclusive dance:

  • By training instructors to adopt humanity when coaching those with specific needs
  • By offering adapted workshops in our studios
  • By collaborating with health institutions and professionals
  • By sharing good practice
  • By organising festive events to raise awareness among the general public

A collaborative approach with expert partners

Mosa Ballet School is proud to be associated with first-class scientific and academic players in developing an innovative and truly promising programme.

Thank you

  • To Mr Julien Compère, Managing Director at CHU Liege
  • To Doctor Olivier Bouquiaux, Neurologist (CHU Liege)
  • To Maïté Guérin, dancer and instructor of adapted and inclusive dance (Asbl Fit your mind, Kinesiphilia programme).
  • To Professor Stéphane Adam, Head of the Senescence Psychology Unit (University of Liege)

Mosa Ballet School also wishes to thank the National Ballet School of Canada for sharing its valuable advice and experience. Its pioneering programme ‘Sharing Dance’, developed in Toronto, is a permanent source of inspiration to our teams.

Alors on danse! comes from the very heart of the school’s vision
