Séverine de Cussac and Vira Kharchenko join the teaching team.


The time has come to reveal the first names of the teachers who will transmit their art to our students with rigour, passion and caring from the beginning of the school year. We are so pleased and proud to announce Séverine de Cussac and Vira Kharchenko as ballet teachers and wish them a warm welcome!

More teachers will be revealed very soon.

Séverine de Cussac trained at the Paris Opera Ballet School under Claude Bessy. At the age of 17, she was hired at the Opéra National de Paris, where she danced for seven years in the wide classical and neo-classical repertoire as well as in contemporary creations. She continued her career as a soloist at the Dresden National Opera in Germany under the direction of Vladimir Derevianko, where she performed numerous roles, including “Giselle”. Since 2013, she has been Professor of Classical Dance at the Dresden College of Dance “Palucca Hochschule für Tanz”.

Vira Kharchenko graduated in 2012 from the Serge Lifar Academy in Kiev and joined first the National Opera and Ballet Theatre in Lviv and after, the Opera and Ballet Theatre in Astrakhan, Russia. In 2013, she was appointed principal dancer (“Swan Lake”, “Nutcracker”, “Romeo and Juliet”). She performed on many major European stages before settling in the UK, where she collaborates with young emerging choreographers. Before joining Mosa, she taught at the Performing Arts College “Bodyworks company” in Cambridge.
