In a few words
We will have the pleasure to welcome Mr. Joey Doucette, from the United States, who is teaching The Luigi Jazz Technique Teacher Certification Program.
The Teacher students will also have a daily session with Clare Guss-West. Former professional dancer, choreographer and dance-health author, she will share strategies for an holistic and inclusive approach to teaching dance. Mindful of the mental wellbeing of students, this approach at the same time supports optimal technical and artistic outcomes for all learners.
For Whom?
Any jazz teacher, from 18 years old, wishing to refine their teaching skills.
Any dance teacher/professional dancer, from 18 years old, interested in becoming a jazz teacher.
When?
From Monday, August 19 to Saturday, August 24, 2024.
Detailed Program
Daily observation of jazz dance classes given by Mr. Joey Doucette.
Daily two-hours pedagogical and didactic seminar with Mr. Joey Doucette.
Daily seminar in holistic approach in teaching with Clare Guss-West, sharing with participants some different insights and tools to effectively pass on their rich artistic experience and knowledge to their students.
