M. Jean-Philippe Van Aelbrouck est une personne de référence pour les matières relatives à la danse et au monde du spectacle en général. Ancien danseur et titulaire d’un doctorat en sciences sociales, il partage une approche théorique et sociologique de la danse, dans un territoire délimité qu’est la Belgique. Par ailleurs, ayant travaillé au sein du Ministère de la Culture à la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, M. Van Aelbrouck dispose d’une vision institutionnelle et politique sur une matière parfois peu connue du grand public. Il a grandement participé à développer le secteur de la danse en Belgique.

Jean-Philippe Van Aelbrouck is a reference in the field of dance and performing arts in general. Former dancer and doctorate in social sciences’ holder, he shares a theoretical and sociological approach to dance, in the limited territory that is Belgium. In addition, having worked for the Ministry of Culture in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, Mr Van Aelbrouck has an institutional and political vision of a subject that is sometimes little known to the public. He has played a major role in developing the dance sector in Belgium.
