Kitchen Flexi-Job

Created in the former regional headquarters of the National Bank of Belgium, the Mosa Ballet School comes to life in this emblematic building located on Place Saint-Paul in the center of Liège (Belgium). In total, more than 10,000 m² of infrastructure have been radically transformed into educational, cultural and sporting spaces in order to offer young dancers and teaching staff a living and working environment that makes them want to excel every day. 

THE FUNCTION

As a Kitchen Organizer, you will contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen by ensuring the proper organization of deliveries, food preparation, storage and hygiene procedures. You will work in accordance with food safety regulations and established procedures to ensure a safe, clean and well-organized kitchen environment.

Under the supervision of the Kitchen Manager, your main tasks are as follows:

• Receiving deliveries and checking the corresponding delivery notes to ensure that quantities and products are correct.

• Storing food products appropriately in refrigerators and freezers, while ensuring proper organization and compliance with storage requirements.

• Assisting with meal preparation and setting up meals, including the preparation of raw vegetables and salads.

• Ensuring compliance with the cold chain, AFSCA requirements and established food hygiene and safety procedures.

• Taking and recording food temperatures in accordance with the applicable procedures.

• Contributing to the general upkeep and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning and disinfecting premises, equipment and work surfaces, and ensuring that the kitchen is kept clean, orderly and ready for service.


Must Have

  • Experience in the day-to-day management and organization of a kitchen is preferred.
  • Energetic, versatile and able to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Rigorous and highly organized, with the ability to work effectively in a demanding environment


Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of HACCP standards is an asset

  • A flexi-job contract of 25 hours per week, with 4 hours worked per day from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
